Abstract:

The effective operation of the tractor unit on a slope is determined by the traction properties of the tractor. To take the necessary measures to improve the traction and coupling properties of the tractor, it is necessary to know the influence of operating factors on the traction and coupling characteristics, including such a basic parameter as the torque on the drive shaft of the driving wheels of the tractor. Using the theory of similarity and dimensions and the theory of planning multifactorial experiments, a criterion equation was obtained to determine the magnitude of the torque on the driving wheels to simulate the operation of the unit on a slope. Criteria are obtained and their influence on the desired parameters is determined..
