Calculating Contouring Tool by Finite Difference Method

Abstract:

The paper dwells on a problem of thermoelasticity for calculating the contour tool with a view to determining the size of the executing diametrical size of its cutting edge, as well as for determining the area of the application of tooling material. The two-dimensional problemis solved by a finite difference method. There have been obtained the results for thetemperature fieldanddisplacementcomponents.
