Authors: M. Iremadze, A. Khvadagiani, G. Tutberidze
Abstract:
Data obtained in processing of steel 45 is indicated that an increase in cutting velocity, feed per tooth and cutting amount help to reduce energy-intensity and its mean square deviation, or to increase material removal for energy unit used. Of the process parameters, the most impact on energy-intensity its statistical characteristics is exerted by cutting amount, and to a lesser extent, by a feed per tooth and cutting velocity.
Keywords: face-milling; instability; reliability; optimization; optimality criterion; energy-intensity
